General Questions

A rage room is a safe, controlled environment where you can release stress and tension by smashing objects like glass, electronics, and furniture. You'll wear protective gear and can choose your weapons (baseball bats, sledgehammers, etc.) to break items in a judgment-free space.
Rage rooms offer a unique way to release pent-up stress, anger, and frustration in a healthy, controlled manner. It's therapeutic, fun, and provides an adrenaline rush while helping you de-stress. Plus, it's way more interesting than traditional stress relief methods!
Absolutely. Safety is our top priority. You'll receive a full safety briefing, all protective gear (hard hat, face shield, coveralls, gloves), and one of our trained staff members monitors every session via camera. The room is specifically designed for this activity with safety measures in place.
Just bring yourself and closed-toe shoes! We provide all safety equipment, weapons, and items to smash. You can bring your own items to destroy (with approval), and we encourage bringing your phone to play music via Bluetooth.

Booking & Reservations

You can book online through our website 24/7, or call us at (347) 227-65-00 during business hours. Simply select your package, date, time, and complete payment. You'll receive a confirmation email immediately.
Walk-ins are welcome based on availability! However, we strongly recommend booking in advance, especially for weekends and evenings, to guarantee your preferred time slot.
Cancellations made 24+ hours in advance receive a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable, but you can reschedule once for free within 30 days. No-shows forfeit payment.
Yes! You can reschedule up to 24 hours before your session at no charge. Contact us via phone or email with your booking number and preferred new date/time.
Yes! Gift cards are available in any amount or pre-set package values. Choose digital (instant) or physical delivery. They never expire and make perfect gifts for birthdays, holidays, or anyone who needs stress relief!

Age Requirements

Participants must be 18 years or older to participate alone. Minors aged 13-17 can participate with a parent or legal guardian present who signs a waiver and supervises throughout the session. Children under 13 are not permitted in the rage room.
Yes! Teens 13-17 can participate if accompanied by a parent/guardian who stays present during the session and signs all waivers. It's a great bonding experience and teaches healthy stress management!
No maximum age! As long as you're physically able to swing a bat and stand for 25-30 minutes, you're welcome. We've had participants in their 70s who had a blast!

Session Details

Standard sessions are 25-30 minutes of smashing time, plus 10 minutes for gear-up and safety briefing. Extended sessions (45-60 minutes) and custom durations are available with premium packages.
Our standard rooms accommodate 1-6 people depending on the package. For private events and corporate groups, we can accommodate 10-20 people across multiple rooms or in extended sessions.
Absolutely! We offer solo sessions. Our online booking may default to 2-person packages, but you can select the 'Solo Rage' option or call us at (347) 227-65-00 to book a private session for one.
You can add additional participants when booking online by selecting a larger package, or contact us directly at (347) 227-65-00 to modify your existing reservation up to 24 hours before your session.
If time slots are available, absolutely! Let our staff know during your session, and we can extend in 15-minute increments ($30 per 15 min) based on availability.

Safety & Health

Yes! All safety equipment is provided including coveralls, closed-toe shoe covers, safety goggles, face shields, gloves, and hard hats. Your safety is our #1 priority. All equipment is sanitized between sessions.
Wear comfortable, casual clothing you don't mind getting a little dirty (though our coveralls protect your clothes). Closed-toe shoes are REQUIRED—no sandals, heels, or open-toed shoes. Sneakers or boots work best.
Please inform us of any medical conditions (heart issues, pregnancy, recent surgeries, etc.) when booking. Pregnant women cannot participate. Those with heart conditions, back problems, or other concerns should consult their doctor first.
Safety is paramount, and injuries are extremely rare when rules are followed. Minor scrapes from not wearing gear properly have occurred, but we've never had a serious injury. Our staff is trained in first aid and CPR.
Unfortunately, no. For safety reasons, pregnant women cannot participate in rage room sessions. However, expectant mothers can supervise others or purchase gift cards for postpartum stress relief!

Items to Smash

You can smash plates, glasses, bottles, electronics (printers, keyboards, monitors, small TVs), furniture pieces, vases, ceramics, and more. Items vary by package. We constantly source new smashables!
Yes! You can bring your own items to smash (within reason). We ask that you avoid hazardous materials, liquids, chemicals, or anything flammable. Contact us beforehand at (347) 227-65-00 to confirm your items are acceptable.
Absolutely! Bring photos, printouts, or write names on items—we encourage it! Just make sure photos are printed (no phones/tablets), and avoid bringing anything you might regret destroying.
Yes! Basic packages include glasses, plates, and small electronics. Premium packages add larger electronics, furniture, and specialty items. You can also purchase add-on items like TVs or laptops.

The Experience

Yes! You can connect your phone via Bluetooth and play whatever music gets you in the mood to smash. We also have curated playlists (rock, metal, rap, punk) if you prefer. Music really enhances the experience!
Yes! We offer 360° video recording as an add-on (+$25). Perfect for creating epic social media content. You can also record with your own phone or camera during the session—we encourage it!
Absolutely! Take as many photos and videos as you want during your session. We even have designated photo spots. Tag us on social media—we love seeing your destruction!
Yes, it can get loud with music and breaking items! We provide ear protection if you're sensitive to noise, but most people love the sound of shattering glass and smashing wood.
Slightly! You'll be protected by coveralls, but you might get some dust or small debris on your clothes. Don't wear anything you'd be upset about getting a bit dirty. It's all part of the fun!

Groups & Events

Yes! Birthday parties are one of our most popular events. We offer private room packages, can accommodate groups of 4-20+, and make your celebration unforgettable. Contact us for custom birthday packages!
You can bring non-alcoholic drinks and snacks to enjoy in our waiting area before/after your session. No food or drinks allowed in the rage room for safety reasons. Alcohol is not permitted on premises.
Absolutely! We specialize in corporate events and team building. Group packages, flexible scheduling, and corporate discounts available. It's the team-building activity your employees will actually enjoy!

Payment & Pricing

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover), debit cards, and gift cards. Payment is required at booking. We do not accept cash for online bookings, but walk-ins can pay cash.
Refunds are available for cancellations made 24+ hours in advance. Gift cards are refundable within 30 days if unused. See our cancellation policy for full details.
No hidden fees! The price you see is what you pay. Add-ons (360° video, extra items, extended time) are clearly listed and optional.
Yes! We offer 10% off for students (with valid ID) and military personnel/veterans (with valid ID). Discounts apply to solo and couples packages. Cannot be combined with other offers.

We're located at 153 Essex St, New York, NY. Easily accessible by subway (F, M, J, Z trains) and public transportation. Street parking and nearby parking garages available.
We're open 7 days a week! Monday-Thursday: 12pm-10pm, Friday: 12pm-11pm, Saturday: 10am-11pm, Sunday: 10am-9pm. Extended hours available for private events by appointment.
Street parking is available (metered). Several parking garages are within 2 blocks. We recommend public transportation—we're very accessible via subway!
Our facility is wheelchair accessible. However, the rage room experience requires standing and physical activity. Please call us to discuss accommodations and whether it's suitable for your specific needs.
